Pros and cons
Funky Pigeon
Pros
- Prices of £4 keep a single card or a small personalized gift within reach before the £1.80 delivery charge.
- Product types cover hampers, gift boxes and personalized, a wider spread than gift boxes, personalized and photo gifts at CEWE and gift boxes and personalized at Bourbon Concierge.
- Next day delivery is offered, and 51.3% of the brands on the site match it.
Cons
- Same day delivery is not offered, so a gift needed today has no option here.
- Support runs on email and help centre, with no phone line listed, while 62.8% of brands compared do take calls.
- A £1.80 delivery charge applies to every order, so low value baskets pay proportionally more for delivery.
Serenata Flowers
Pros
- Same day delivery is offered, with the order cutoff at 9pm for late sends.
- A 7 day freshness guarantee, matching the site median of 7 days.
- The range covers bouquets, letterbox flowers and plants, so letterbox flowers and plants sit alongside bouquets.
Cons
- Shipping is not always free: fees run £0 to £3.95 on top of a £22.99 entry price.
- Delivery covers GB only, so it is not an option for anyone sending abroad.
- The range is narrower than Fleurop: it lists bouquets, letterbox flowers and plants and no dried flowers or subscriptions.
Who each suits
Funky Pigeon
Who it suits
- Gift buyers in GB and IE who want personalization and next day delivery from a single shop.
- People buying a hamper, a box and a card in one order, since product types cover hampers, gift boxes and personalized.
- Anyone giving a gift card, since they are exchangeable and stay valid for 18 months.
Who should look elsewhere
- Not for a plain gift box purchase, since Jochen Schweizer lists gift boxes and gift cards and covers fewer product types than hampers, gift boxes and personalized.
- Not for a photo gift or card order, since CEWE centres gift boxes, personalized and photo gifts instead of the hamper and gift box lines.
- Not for a boxed set buyer who wants a short list, since Bourbon Concierge lists gift boxes and personalized against the longer hampers, gift boxes and personalized here.
Serenata Flowers
Who it suits
- UK senders planning one-off gifts who value the 7 day freshness cover
- Anyone ordering at short notice, since same day delivery runs to a 9pm cutoff
- Buyers who want letterbox flowers and plants in the same place, given bouquets, letterbox flowers and plants
Who should look elsewhere
- Overseas senders, because delivery covers GB only.
- Anyone after a recurring flower habit, since subscriptions sit with Freddie's Flowers and Fleurop rather than in the bouquets, letterbox flowers and plants range here.
- Budget-first buyers comparing the cheapest named entry price, where Blumenshop lists €19.95 against £22.99.

Questions about each
Funky Pigeon
How much do gifts cost at Funky Pigeon?+
Funky Pigeon quotes gifts at an entry price of £4, which is the price of the item rather than a first payment that renews. On top of that sits a £1.80 delivery charge at checkout, so the basket size decides how much of the total is delivery rather than gift. Larger baskets spread the delivery charge over more items.
Is there a delivery charge on top of the gift price?+
Yes, a £1.80 delivery charge is listed for orders. That matters most on small orders such as a card or a photo gift, where delivery can weigh heavily against an entry price of £4. On a hamper or a multi item box the same charge is spread across more products, so the effective cost per item falls.
Serenata Flowers
What does Serenata Flowers cost, and is there a renewal price?+
Serenata Flowers is not a membership and carries no renewal price. Each order is a one-off, so the spend is the entry price of £22.99 on cheap flowers plus delivery on top, which runs £0 to £3.95. A repeat buyer weighs those two figures on every order rather than a renewal fee, and the plant range carries the same shipping fee.
Where does Serenata Flowers deliver?+
It serves GB, and the legal entity behind it is Flowers Online Ltd, with the headquarters in the United Kingdom. Anyone sending to an address outside that list would need a different sender, so domestic UK sending is the clear fit.
