Our verdict
City Game sells day-out gifts that hold their value, with vouchers that are exchangeable and valid for 12 months across a catalog of from 450 experiences. It suits buyers who want a clear entry price of €19.95 and plenty to swap within, rather than the widest spread of spa and driving vouchers.

Pros and cons
Pros
- Vouchers are valid for 12 months and can be exchanged, so a recipient is not locked to one date or one city.
- The catalog behind a voucher holds from 450 experiences, which gives an exchange real choice rather than a token swap.
- Returns are handled within 30 days, so a redeemed voucher that does not work out is recoverable.
- A single seller covers the whole gift, since the product types are experience days, attractions and gift cards.
- Against the €13.15 entry price typical across the site, €19.95 is a mid-range figure rather than a premium one.
Cons
- Support runs on email and help centre only, with no phone line or live chat listed.
- The product list is experience days, attractions and gift cards, narrower than Jochen Schweizer's experience days, spa and driving and mydays' experience days, spa and driving, so a driving or adventure voucher is not on the list.
- Voucher validity of 12 months places City Game 12 of 31 brands listed, so it is not the longest window available.
- The €19.95 entry price sits above the €13.15 entry price typical across the site, so budget more than a standard gift voucher.
Who it suits
- You want a day out the recipient can trade for something else: vouchers are exchangeable and last 12 months.
- You are buying for someone who travels. The catalog reaches NL, DE and ES, and a voucher can cover a city in any of them.
- You want day-out and attraction vouchers from the same seller, since the product types are experience days, attractions and gift cards and the catalog holds from 450 experiences.
Who should look elsewhere
- You want a driving or adventure voucher. Jochen Schweizer and mydays list experience days, spa and driving and experience days, spa and driving, which reach further than City Game's experience days, attractions and gift cards.
- You need to talk to a person. Support here runs on email and help centre, while phone is listed on 60% of experience-day brands.
- You want spa and food and drink in the same order. DealToday lists experience days, spa and food and drink, which includes both, while City Game's experience days, attractions and gift cards does not.
Where it sits among rivals
On entry price, City Game sits 30 of 53 brands listed, which is mid-table rather than the bargain end of the field. On voucher validity it ranks 12 of 31, so its validity window sits in the lower group of that ranking. The two numbers together describe the trade-off plainly: you are not buying the lowest entry price in the comparison, and you are not buying the longest validity either.
What it does well
Vouchers are valid for 12 months, which gives a gift a real run time rather than a short deadline. They can be exchanged, so a recipient who picks the wrong city or the wrong activity can trade it for another in the catalog of from 450 experiences. Returns run 30 days, which keeps a redeemed voucher recoverable if the day itself does not work out.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a City Game experience cost at entry?+
A City Game voucher starts at €19.95, and that figure sits above the €13.15 entry price typical across the brands on the site. In the comparison it places City Game 30 of 53 on entry price, so budget above the cheapest tickets and below the priciest ones.
How long is a City Game voucher valid?+
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase. Across the brands listed, the shortest validity is 12 months and the longest 39 months, so a full year sits at the short end of what is on offer, and City Game ranks 12 of 31 on this point.
Can a City Game voucher be exchanged or changed?+
Yes, vouchers are exchangeable, so a recipient who does not want the chosen experience can trade it rather than lose it. The pool to trade into is the catalog of from 450 experiences, and returns are handled within 30 days if the voucher itself has to go back.
Which countries can a City Game voucher be used in?+
The catalog is listed across NL, DE and ES, so a voucher can cover a city break in a long list of countries rather than a single market. Check that the city you have in mind sits inside that list before buying a gift.
What kinds of gifts does City Game sell?+
City Game lists experience days, attractions and gift cards, so a day of activities, an attraction ticket and a gift card all come from the same seller. Jochen Schweizer and mydays list more categories, including experience days, spa and driving, which matters if the recipient wants a spa or driving voucher rather than a city day out.
How do I get help from City Game?+
Support runs on email and help centre, so questions go by email or through the help center rather than down a phone line. A help center appears on 89.4% of brands, while phone is listed on 62.8%. If you need to speak to someone, check before you buy.
How does City Game compare with DealToday for an attraction voucher?+
It depends on how wide you want the basket. DealToday lists experience days, spa and food and drink, which covers the same core of experience days, attractions and gift cards. City Game adds scale through a catalog of from 450 experiences and an entry price of €19.95, and those are the points to weigh against your shortlist.
