Our verdict on each
PrinterPix
PrinterPix suits buyers turning their own photos into personalized gifts, with photo books starting at $9.98 and delivery free on photo gifts. It works for planned gifting rather than last-minute purchases: rush shipping still waits on the making time, and problems must be raised within 7 days of delivery.
YouCustomizeIt
US buyers after a gift built around their own text or photo get a short path here: every design is customisable, overnight delivery is an option, and entry pricing of $8.95 keeps a first order small. The catch is delivery, which is charged on top of the item price by size and weight.

Pros and cons
PrinterPix
Pros
- Personalization is standard rather than an add-on, so a photo or a message can go on nearly any order.
- Delivery on photo gifts costs $0, which keeps those orders down to the item price.
- Photo Books start at $9.98, so a custom gift can be bought without a large outlay.
Cons
- Next day delivery is off the table, so even a rush order waits on the making time before an item travels.
- A fault has to be reported inside a window of 7 days from delivery, which is tight for a large custom print.
- Support runs on email and chat only, so a reader who prefers a phone call has no direct line.
YouCustomizeIt
Pros
- Every design is fully customisable and you can upload your own elements, so a gift is built around the recipient rather than picked from a printed catalogue.
- Next day delivery is offered, with UPS, FedEx and USPS carrying the orders, which suits a dated occasion.
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt for a replacement or a refund.
Cons
- Delivery is charged on top of the item price, with standard rates of $4.95 to $15.95, so the $8.95 entry point is not the whole cost of a gift.
- Orders do not run outside the United States, so a custom gift cannot be sent to an overseas recipient.
- The return window closes at 30 days of receipt, and next day delivery leaves little slack to spot a printing error.

Questions about each
PrinterPix
How much does a PrinterPix gift cost?+
Photo Books start at $9.98, which is the entry price most buyers meet first. Delivery on photo gifts costs $0, so a photo book order can stay at the item price. Pieces further up the range sit above that entry price.
What kinds of gifts does PrinterPix sell?+
PrinterPix sells personalized, photo gifts and cards. Photo books, blankets and mugs anchor the range, and each one takes the photos you supply, so one album can cover a birthday, a holiday gift and a keepsake.
YouCustomizeIt
How much does a personalised gift cost at the entry level?+
The quoted entry point is $8.95, and that figure belongs to a rubber backed coaster sold as a single piece or a set of four, so it says little about what a framed print costs. Larger custom gifts and photo gifts carry their own prices, so treat $8.95 as the floor for a first small order rather than a typical spend.
How much is delivery on top of my order?+
Delivery is charged on top of the item price. Standard rates run $4.95 to $15.95 and are set by the size and weight of what you order, so a big framed piece lands at the top of that band while a small item sits at the bottom. Faster options are offered as well, including overnight.
