Our verdict on each
1001Canvas
1001Canvas is a straightforward choice for adults buying personalized or photo gifts at a set item price rather than a plan. It suits shoppers who want personalization across a wide delivery reach and a returns window of 30 days, and suits less anyone counting on next day delivery.
YouCustomizeIt
US buyers after a gift built around their own text or photo get a short path here: every design is customisable, overnight delivery is an option, and entry pricing of $8.95 keeps a first order small. The catch is delivery, which is charged on top of the item price by size and weight.

Pros and cons
1001Canvas
Pros
- Entry price of $19.99 ranks 58 of 90 brands compared on price from, so the starting cost sits in the middle of the field.
- Orders ship to AL, AT and BE, a wider reach than a seller working in a single market.
- Returns run for 30 days, and support is reachable on email and phone.
Cons
- Next day delivery is a no, and 68.8% of the brands in the photo gifts comparison sit in the same position.
- Delivery adds $10 to an order, so the $19.99 starting price is not the full cost of a low priced gift.
- The range stops at personalized and photo gifts, where CEWE extends into gift boxes, cards and gift cards.
YouCustomizeIt
Pros
- Every design is fully customisable and you can upload your own elements, so a gift is built around the recipient rather than picked from a printed catalogue.
- Next day delivery is offered, with UPS, FedEx and USPS carrying the orders, which suits a dated occasion.
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt for a replacement or a refund.
Cons
- Delivery is charged on top of the item price, with standard rates of $4.95 to $15.95, so the $8.95 entry point is not the whole cost of a gift.
- Orders do not run outside the United States, so a custom gift cannot be sent to an overseas recipient.
- The return window closes at 30 days of receipt, and next day delivery leaves little slack to spot a printing error.

Questions about each
1001Canvas
How much does a personalized gift cost?+
Items start at $19.99, and that figure marks the lowest piece in the range rather than a typical spend. Delivery is charged at $10 on top, so on a small gift the delivery charge takes a large share of the order. Both costs are settled per order at checkout.
Does 1001Canvas offer next day delivery?+
Next day delivery is a no, so an order for a fixed date needs a margin of time on the delivery. Faster options do exist in this category: 31.2% of the brands in the photo gifts comparison offer it, while 68.8% do not. Plan gift dates against standard shipping.
YouCustomizeIt
How much does a personalised gift cost at the entry level?+
The quoted entry point is $8.95, and that figure belongs to a rubber backed coaster sold as a single piece or a set of four, so it says little about what a framed print costs. Larger custom gifts and photo gifts carry their own prices, so treat $8.95 as the floor for a first small order rather than a typical spend.
How much is delivery on top of my order?+
Delivery is charged on top of the item price. Standard rates run $4.95 to $15.95 and are set by the size and weight of what you order, so a big framed piece lands at the top of that band while a small item sits at the bottom. Faster options are offered as well, including overnight.
