Laithwaites review

Listed entry fees for Laithwaites sit at a median of €32.54, with the interquartile spread running €23.05 to €41.23. That is above the wider site median of €13.15, so budget for the upper end of the category.

Same day delivery is available, though it applies to 52.2% of the category rather than every order. Next day delivery is more common at 95.2%, so plan ahead if the date matters more than the timing.

The freshness guarantee runs a median of 7 days, which matches the site level of 7. Coverage across the field reaches 45 at the top end, so check the terms on the specific bouquet.

Personalisation is offered, in line with 100% across the category, so arrangements can be tailored rather than taken as a fixed bouquet. It is the practical route for gifts, where a message and a style matter as much as the stems themselves.

A help centre covers 96.3% of the field, with email at 85.2% and phone at 55.6%. Live chat is thinner at 40.7%, so email or phone is the safer route for anything urgent.

Its median entry price of €32.54 sits close to the category ceiling of €60.51 and well above the €13.15 median across the site. The trade is breadth, same day slots and a freshness promise rather than a low entry price.

Across the sites compared, 83.6% of offers run on a subscription, while 16.4% are bought as needed. Flowers that change hands regularly are often set up as a standing order, so check whether Laithwaites sells single bouquets or plans before you order.

Voucher validity on the sites compared runs a median of 12 months, with the top of the range at 39. If you are buying ahead for a birthday or an anniversary, check the expiry on the voucher you are given, since a shorter window can turn a planned gift into a rush.
