Pros and cons

Pros

  • Placed 25 of 90 brands compared on price from, so the entry figure is genuinely low.
  • The range is personalized and photo gifts and personalization is a yes, so the printed detail forms the product rather than an add-on.
  • Returns run 14 days, which gives room to check a print before it becomes a keepsake.
  • Delivery reaches DE, AT and BE, so a gift can travel past its home market without a second seller.

Cons

  • Next day delivery is a no, so a same-week present needs planning and a buyer with a deadline elsewhere.
  • Shipping of €5.99 can outweigh the €4.90 entry price on a small single-item order.
  • CEWE lists gift boxes, personalized and photo gifts, so gift boxes, cards and gift cards sit outside this range.
  • Outside DE, AT and BE there is no delivery, so buyers in other regions need a domestic printer.

Who it suits

  • Shoppers who want a printed photo gift rather than a gift box, so CEWE's cards and gift cards are outside the brief.
  • People who prefer asking a question to a person, since support runs on email, phone and help centre before a large print is ordered.
  • Readers working to a budget on one small gift, where an entry price of €4.90 decides the choice.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Anyone who needs a next day delivery, since next day delivery is a no here.
  • Gift box, card and gift card shoppers, where CEWE lists gift boxes, personalized and photo gifts.
  • Wristband buyers, since WristbandExpress.com works on personalized rather than photo gifts.

Core features

Personalization is a yes across what the shop sells, so a name, a date or an image is built into the product rather than added to a stock design afterwards. The counterweight sits in timing: next day delivery is a no, so a gift ordered late in the week will not land the next morning, and a buyer working to a fixed date should order well ahead. Returns run 14 days, which is the part that matters most here, since a photo product can arrive with the image wrong even when the object itself is sound. That window gives room to check a crop or a date before the piece is kept or given away.

Prices

Prices start at €4.90, and that is the figure a buyer meets first. Delivery is charged separately at €5.99, so the smallest item plus shipping is the real floor for a single order, and it is worth weighing that before filling a basket with several small prints. Nothing here recurs on a schedule, so there is no second period to compare: the number that decides the purchase is what one order totals, not what a first payment leads to later. For anyone splitting a present across several gifts, the delivery line is the item that tells you whether the order is still worth placing.

The company behind it

The shop runs as CampusWerk Inh. Carsten Benecke and is based in Germany, and it has been trading since 2006, a long stretch for a print-and-post operation. Support runs on email, phone and help centre, so a question about print quality, timing or a return can go to a person on the phone as well as by email, with a help centre sitting alongside both for the written answers on delivery and shipping. In a category where most buying friction is a wrong date or a poor crop rather than a faulty object, that mix of contact routes matters more than the size of the range.

Frequently asked questions

What does a photo gift cost at Druckdichdrauf?+

Items start at €4.90, which places the entry price under the median of €12.92 for personalized gifts across the site. That is a starting point rather than an average, so a larger print or a fuller set costs more. Worth pairing with the delivery charge before committing.

Is there a delivery charge on top of the item price?+

Yes. Delivery is charged at €5.99 and sits separate from the €4.90 entry price. On a small order the delivery figure can come close to the item itself, so anyone buying a single photo print should budget with both lines together.

Can the gifts be personalized?+

Yes, personalization is offered across the range, which covers personalized and photo gifts. That means the photo is the base and the personal detail is part of the item, rather than a plain stock design with a name added afterwards. It is the reason most buyers land on this kind of shop.

Can I get a personalized gift delivered the next day?+

No. Next day delivery is not offered, so a gift ordered late in the week will not arrive the following morning. Most photo-gift brands on the site are in the same position, with 68.8% of them not offering it, so this is the norm in the category rather than an exception.

Which countries does it ship to?+

Delivery covers DE, AT and BE. The shop is based in Germany and the rest of that list is European, so a gift can cross a border without a second local seller. A recipient living outside the list needs a domestic printer instead, which rules the shop out for that address.

How long do I have to return a personalized print?+

Returns run 14 days from delivery, the window that matters most for a photo product, where the image can be wrong even when the object is fine. Support runs on email, phone and help centre if a return needs raising before the window closes.

Who runs the shop?+

The business is CampusWerk Inh. Carsten Benecke, based in Germany, and it has traded since 2006. That length of trading counts in printed gifts, where a print that goes wrong cannot be replaced instantly and a long-standing operation is more likely to still be there when a replacement is needed.

How does its entry price compare with other gift shops?+

Druckdichdrauf sits 25 of 90 brands compared on price from, with an entry figure of €4.90. Being placed that early in a price ranking means the starting point sits below the middle of the field, which matters for anyone buying one small gift.
