Our verdict on each
Club of Spirits
Club of Spirits suits German drinkers who want spirits, alcohol-free drinks and wine in one order rather than a club subscription. Entry prices from €8.99 sit under the drinks clubs median of €11.61, and a bottle guarantee covers damage on a mixed basket.
KrisShop
KrisShop suits gift buyers who want a small personalized add-on or a gift card, delivered fast across SG, MY and TW, without committing to a subscription. It is a gift shop rather than a club, so nothing repeats, and a SGD 6 delivery charge sits on baskets below SGD 75.

Pros and cons
Club of Spirits
Pros
- Entry prices start at €8.99, which puts the cheapest bottle at the budget end of the drinks club field rather than the middle of it.
- The range covers spirits, alcohol-free drinks and a wine shop, a mix closer to a spirits buyer than the wine-only lists at Bright Cellars (wine club and wine shop).
- A bottle guarantee applies, so a broken bottle inside a mixed spirits order becomes the shop's problem rather than the reader's.
Cons
- Other countries are not among its markets (DE), so a reader outside Germany has no destination to ship to.
- A wine club is not among its product types (spirits, alcohol free and wine shop), so there is no recurring case to open each delivery.
- Cocktails are not among its product types (spirits, alcohol free and wine shop), where Total Wine lists them alongside a wine shop, spirits and alcohol-free lines (wine shop, spirits and cocktails).
KrisShop
Pros
- Personalization is available, so a plain gift becomes a keepsake without a second order.
- Next day delivery is on offer, which suits birthdays and thank you gifts with a fixed date.
- A SGD 6 delivery charge is waived once a basket passes SGD 75, so grouping two gifts can settle it.
Cons
- Product range is personalized and gift cards, so anyone after photo gifts or a printed card book has to look at CEWE, which lists gift boxes, personalized and photo gifts.
- There is no bottle guarantee, which rules the shop out of the drinks comparison entirely.
- Delivery is not free on small baskets: SGD 6 applies until SGD 75.
Who each suits
Club of Spirits
Who it suits
- Drinkers in Germany, where DE shows a single market, ordering spirits as the main item on the list.
- Shoppers who want a bottle guarantee rather than club-only deliveries, and who read support lines before ordering anywhere.
- Anyone building a mixed basket of spirits, wine and alcohol-free drinks who would rather pay per bottle from €8.99 than commit to a case.
Who should look elsewhere
- Wine club subscribers who want a recurring case, since The Wine Society lists a wine club next to a wine shop, spirits and alcohol-free lines (wine club, wine shop and spirits).
- Readers after ready-made cocktails, which Total Wine lists with a wine shop, spirits and alcohol-free lines (wine shop, spirits and cocktails).
- Wine-first buyers who want a club plan, since Bright Cellars covers a wine club and a wine shop (wine club and wine shop).
KrisShop
Who it suits
- You are buying a small personalized gift for someone in Singapore, MY and TW and the date is fixed.
- You want a gift card as an easy present that does not need wrapping.
- You would rather order once and pay a single delivery charge than join anything.
Who should look elsewhere
- You need photo prints, cards or photo books, because the range is personalized and gift cards while CEWE covers gift boxes, personalized and photo gifts.
- You are comparing personalized giveaway bands or wristbands, since WristbandExpress.com lists personalized.
- You are shopping for a hamper of drinks to sip over weeks, because there is no bottle guarantee and no delivery frequency here.

Questions about each
Club of Spirits
What does a bottle cost at Club of Spirits?+
Entry prices start at €8.99, and that figure covers the budget end of the shelf rather than a subscription. The shop is priced per bottle, so what a reader pays depends on the bottle chosen and the size of the basket, with delivery stopping at €125.
Is there a membership fee or a club subscription?+
No membership fee is charged, and a wine club is not among the product types (spirits, alcohol free and wine shop), so nothing renews by itself. Every order is priced on the bottles in it, and entry prices begin at €8.99, which keeps the commitment at the size of each basket.
KrisShop
How much do gifts cost at the entry price?+
Gifts start at SGD 19, so a small personalized keychain or a gift card is a low cost way into the shop. There is no joining fee and no membership tier, so the entry price is the price of the item itself. Larger personalized pieces simply cost more on top of that.
What does delivery cost?+
A delivery charge of SGD 6 is added to an order. That cost is waived once the basket reaches SGD 75, so sending two gifts in one order often covers the shipping without any extra step. Next day delivery is available where the date is tight.
